ESRC Research Scholarships
Subject Research Maintenance 2010-11 At research council rates
Frequency Annual Tenure 3 years
Eligibility For students that have an offer to study in the School of Education in October 2010. Applications Applicants must advise Helen Joinson (h.e.joinson@bham.ac.uk) that they wish to be considered for the award.
Tuition Yes Closing Date 1 March 2010. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place from 11 - 16 March.

Florence Congleton Scholarship Award
Subject Study which would lead to MPhil in one of the UNESCO themes of education for peace, democracy, human rights and sustainable development (or related issues). Maintenance 2010-11 A contribution of £6,000 towards accommodation.

Eligibility For female citizens of an African Commonwealth country or non-white residents of Southern Africa aged between 22 and 35 on 1 October 2010. Applications Applicants must advise Sue Gallagher  (s.gallagher@bham.ac.uk) that they wish to be considered for the award.
