Disability and Learning Support Service

Disability can mean different things for different people. It may include you, even if you don't consider yourself to be disabled. If you have study support needs related to a disability, including dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, mental health conditions, or other health conditions, we are here to help you.


What we offer
The range of support and assistance that we can provide for disabled students.

Disabled Students Allowances (DSA)
An explanation of the Disabled Students’ Allowances, and how to go about applying for them.

Support worker scheme
You may be entitled to assistance from support workers to include note-takers, readers, library help, and mentors.

Assistive technology and equipment loan pool
The service holds a range of assistive equipment and software that may be used on short term loan.
