Employability Workshops

In order to complete the Personal Skills Award through the PSA (Activity) pathway,  you must attend an Employability Workshop session.

What are the Employability Workshops?

The Employability Workshops are sessions designed to enable you to reflect upon the skills that you have developed through your involvement in extra-curricular activities.The workshop sessions will also teach you how to articulate these skills to employers.

Why do I need to attend?

Attendance at the employability workshops is compulsory if you are taking the PSA (Activity) pathway.

You should only attend an Employability Workshop in the year that you expect to complete the PSA (Activity).

When are the Employability Workshops held?

The Employability Workshops will be held throughout the Autumn term and at the beginning of the Spring term. Confirmed dates and times will appear on the PSA WebCT section on Monday 7th November 2011.

Workshop locations will be confirmed on the PSA WebCT section and the Interactive careers service as detailed below.

How do I book a place at a workshop session?

From Monday 7th November 2011 the Employability Workshops will be available to book onto via the Interactive Careers Service
