PSA Points Declaration

The Personal Skills Award requires you to declare PSA points for activities that you have completed each February.

You will need to declare the points you wish to achieve for your activities by the deadline specified each academic year. Points that are not declared will not be rewarded and will not count towards your final Personal Skills Award.

You must be registered onto the Personal Skills Award to claim points and have access to our WebCT section.

Points Declaration

The PSA Points Declaration Form is now available on the PSA WebCT Section. This is an online form which needs to be submitted electronically. This electronic form needs to be completed by all students on all pathways who want to declare PSA points for the academic year 2011/12; towards their PSA (Activity) or PSA (Advanced). Please ensure that you fully complete the form and include all of your details such as name and ID number.

The deadline for declaring your points for 2011/12 is Friday 3rd February 2012 4:30pm.

 You only need to submit one form each year.

1. Before you submit the Personal Skills Award Points Declaration Form you must ensure that you meet all of the criteria to achieve the points. You can check the criteria here.  If you do not meet ALL of the requirements to achieve your points you will not be awarded them this academic year.

2. You must check who your activity provider is e.g. Guild of Students to complete the correct part of the form. If you do not tick the correct box your points will not be processed correctly. You can check the activities list here.

4 . If you have taken part in any of the following activities, you must ensure that you have also submitted the correct counterpart form. These are available on our WebCT Section.

  •  Guild  Voluntary Projects

  • External Work and Voluntary Experience

  • CEC Workshops

  • Departmental Activities

Drop In's

If you would like to ask questions about the PSA points process or are unsure how to complete the Points Declaration Form, the PSA team will be around campus to answer your questions. We will be available to talk 1:1, and discuss through any PSA queries you have.

You can find us in The Careers and Employability Centre, the Guild and Munrow Sports Centre at various intervals before Friday 3rd February 2012; just drop by during the advertised times.
