The Learning Spaces Division has a commitment to constantly seek out pedagogic and technological innovations and incorporate these into all of its new and refurbished learning spaces. Whether it is a 300 seat flagship lecture theatre or a small informal group study area, we feel it is important to provide our students with learning environments which are comfortable, inviting and conducive to both traditional teaching and enquiry based study, and which employ the latest technological developments in ways which demonstrably enhance the learning experience.
The Learning Spaces Strategy provides a framework governing the development of learning spaces within the University. It is this strategy that forms the basis of the development work that the division carries out and many of the services that the division provides.
