Please bring your student ID card to each examination if you fail to do so you may be required to stay behind after the examination to verify your identity. If you have lost your ID card or require a replacement then one can be acquired from the Enquiry Counter at cost.
You are strongly advised to bring a printed copy of your final examination timetable with you to all exams as this will have your seat number on it, which will help the invigilators to quickly resolve matters in the event of a query.
If you have been notified by your lecturer that you are permitted to consult reference material during the examination i.e. law statute book please ensure that this is a clean copy and contains no annotations.
Students whose first language is not English must bring their dictionary approval letters with them to all exams.

If you find you have two examinations set at the same time with different Assessment Codes, please report this immediately to the Examinations and Congregations Office.
Please note that duplicated titles do not indicate a clash but are simply a reflection of teaching across two semesters.
Students are permitted into an examination up to thirty minutes after the start of an examination. In exceptional circumstances you may be permitted to enter the examination after thirty minutes at the discretion of the Senior Invigilator, alternatively you may be able to sit the examination within your School or Department. If you are running late and will be late or unable to attend your examination please contact your own School or Department direct, please do not contact the Examinations and Congregations Office.
Students who turn up late for their exams and who are permitted to continue the exam in the venue do not get any extra time.
As a registered student of the University, you are required to make yourself available to sit your timetabled examinations.
If you are unable to attend an examination through illness or your are taken ill during an examination you must supply a medical certificate without delay to your School or Department.
