Below is information relating to the processing of results and recommendations for students registered on undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes.
The main guidance document Examination Processing 2011/12 contains information relating to:
- Guidance on powers of authority delegated to School Examination Boards.
- Adjusted (Undergraduate) Regulations for certain Schools.
- Guidance on forwarding Examination Board minutes and decisions to Academic and Student Administration (ASA).
- Data protection issues and feedback to students.
- Using BIRMS for the reporting of module marks and Exam Board decisions.
Schools are reminded that failure to comply with this guidance will be reported to the Progress and Awards Board, which has a responsibility for monitoring the quality and robustness of Schools’ examination processing.
