Entrepreneurship and Innovation is looking for two of the University’s best entrepreneurial talents to go forward to the National University Entrepreneur 2012 competition.

26 January 2012 saw the culmination of Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s annual Plan-B competition take place on the very top floor of Muirhead Tower, Edgbaston Campus. Students who had innovative ideas to start businesses, social enterprises or charities entered the board room to put forward their proposals and the shortlisted few went on to pitch their ideas to a panel of investment-savvy judges.

Slam Screen Media is a film production and media services company operating in Birmingham and Hampshire created by University of Birmingham student Chris Haill and his three colleagues. Split into two sections, the company produces both short and feature films, as well as offering a variety of client services.

Registration is now open for the next round of Talent Pool training taking place between February and April 2012.

Registration is now open for the Postgraduate Enterprise Summer School (PESS) for Doctoral Researchers which takes place from Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July 2012.
