Our annual competition, Plan B, seeks current students with ideas and vision, who can devise and communicate a plan to achieve that vision. Short-listed candidates are then invited to attend a final ‘pitching’ competition. This year the standard was high producing some great innovative business ideas.

Richard Adams, Alessandro Capozzi and Nicholas Jackson, studying International Relations, successfully pitched their idea Procedo Foundation; a charity that funds and manages sustainable development projects needed in some of the world’s most economically deprived areas; winning the first prize of £1000.
Caine Woodward studying International Business with Chinese came a close second place with his idea, Living Memory; a personalised vault to store information online of the user’s last wishes. Caine’s presentation was very compelling, earning him a prize of £500.
Joycelyn Oyibo and Rachael Twumasi studying Law were runners-up. The duo known as Sanctity Oils have created their own natural massage and hair oils for the African Caribbean hair care market.
We continue to support students from all disciplines who show initiative and an entrepreneurial flair for business. Find out more about the competition at Plan-B competition which will be running again in 2011.
