PESS 2012 registration now open

The Postgraduate Enterprise Summer School (PESS) takes Doctoral Researchers from a wide range of specialist areas through a series of interactive professional skills training sessions. The training takes place over one week - Monday to Friday, and each day is packed full of interactive workshops, internal and external trainers, guest speakers and activities.

Throughout the week delegates will work in teams to create an innovative new product or service. Using the skills learnt, teams will research the idea thoroughly and prepare a pitch which will be judged by a panel of business-savvy individuals.

No previous business experience is required and participants from all subject areas are welcome. The course takes place from Monday 23rd July to Friday 27th July 2012. For full details on the course and how to sign up see PESS 2012.

Cost: The cost to attend for a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Birmingham is £30 and the cost for external Doctoral Researchers is £295.
