Contact hours
Total student/staff contact hours for the module.
Corequisites
Modules which must be taken at the same time as this module.
Credits
Minimum 10 credits, increasing in multiples of 10. I credit is attributable to learning achieved within 10 hours of notional learning activity (including teaching, self-study, revision) at the specified level.
Description
Provides a brief description of the module content.
Delivery
Number/nature of lectures, classes, laboratories etc.
Level
Used to describe the academic level of a given module:
Undergraduate modules:
- Level F (Foundation)
- Level C (Certificate)
- Level I (Intermediate)
- Level H (Honours)
Masters modules:
- Level M
Doctorate modules:
- Level D
Member of Staff
A member of staff with lead responsibility for the module.
Module Code
The unique code by which the module is known, which is generated by the University's central Student Record, Banner.
Other
Indicates involvement of any other Schools/Departments - percentage of involvement must be provided.
Outcomes
Lists what demonstrable skills and knowledge the student will have gained on successful completion of the learning activity of the module. (QAA guidance about qualification descriptors appropriate to level.)
Prerequisites
Modules which must have been passed before this module can be taken.
Restrictions
Indicates whether the module is restricted to students on particular programmes.
School/Department
The School or Department with academic responsibility for the module.
