"The major benefit of my post-grad degree and by going off and doing a foreign exchange in Iran was that on the recruitment process it helped in that it made me very distinct from the general stream.
"In actual work I suppose a lot of the soft skills I developed, it’s a bit hard to quantify but the networking, communicating across cultures and communicating when there’s linguistic barriers and things like that and just mental resilience when confronted with difficult situations."
