Nursing

Summary of statistics

The destinations statistics from our 2009/10 nursing graduates indicate around 83% entered full time paid work with 6% taking up employment and further study. 8% of nursing graduates in 09/10 were looking for work and 3% engaged in other activity such as taking time out to travel

The newly qualified nurses mostly took full time posts in the NHS with specialisms including children, mental health and forensic work; alternatives are to work in private healthcare hospitals and in related healthcare positions.
