Clinical Medicine

Summary of statistics

95% of our Clinical Medicine graduates in 09/10 entered employment with the majority taking up posts in the UK as Foundation Doctors in the NHS . 4% went into work and further study.  Graduates from clinical medicine are encouraged to go straight into junior doctors' positions which include further vocational training and normally after one year are then fully registered by the GMC as Medical Doctors.

DLHE statistics - postgraduates

80% of Clinical Medicine postgraduates were in full time employment six months after graduation. 7% were combining work with further study and 5% entered further study only. 7% were engaged in other activity including taking time out. Only 1% of postgraduates were still seeking employment 6 months after graduation.
