Applying for graduate jobs can be challenging; one vacancy with a well known employer can attract thousands of applicants. These will be short-listed using their CV, application form and interview. The Careers and Employability Centre can help advise you on the ins and outs of how to apply for a job.

Creating a good CV
There is no blueprint for the perfect CV, but we can help you with the skill of tailoring your CV to a specific job or career area.

Filling in application forms
Your application form needs to be selected by the employer so you can have a chance at an interview. We have information on tips and tricks for filling them in.

Interviews
This section will help you gain confidence and perform well at interview. This is an opportunity for your potential employer to gain further information about you and your skills and motivation.

Assessment centres
Reaching this step is an accomplishment in itself, and you should prepare fully for what can be the final stage of the recruitment process.
